The Revolabs Xtag

This unique device is revolutionizing the way we use microphones. It is a wireless microphone which communicates with a small base station which connects with and draws it's power from your PC or Mac computer using an available USB port. The microphone itself measures only 2.5 inches x 0.9 inch and weighs only 0.05 lb (less than one once). It has a range of 20 meters, and uses a rechargeable lithium polymer battery with an 8 hour talk time.

Comments: We were skeptical when we first learned of this microphone, particularly because of its potential susceptibility to external noise contamination given the distance of the microphone from a user's mouth. Our trials of the microphone were convincing, though. This is an extremely comfortable and accurate microphone. It does not tout the noise cancelling qualities of some of our other microphones, particularly the Sennheiser ME3 and theBoom mics, but it does fine in an office environment with ordinary noises. The real beauty of this mic is its comfort! You will truly forget that you'e wearing it!

Please note that this microphone gives somewhat low signal to noise ratios during audio set-up. We recommend that you ignore this and pay attention to the astounding performance of the microphone instead!
