iPad & iPhone Headset Microphone Adapter
 This is our own version of the hard-to-find adapter that will allow you to use a standard computer headset microphone with your iPhone or iPad. On one end is a 4-conductor male plug for engagement with your portable device. On the other end are color-coded and illustrated jacks for the microphone and audio plugs from your headset microphone.

Comments: This product was manufactured for us and to our specifications. In our opinion it is the best headset microphone adapter available. Be aware that your iPad or iPhone will not shut off your internal microphone simply because the adapter is plugged in. It will look for the presence of an external microphone with a specific impendence (greater than 700 ohms), so the ability of this adapter to work may depend upon the nature of the specific microphone you are using. We have tested this with a number of common microphone we use with speech recognition on a computer and have found most to work great. If you purchase this adapter and find it is not compatible with your microphone, we are happy to accept it in return and provide a full refund.

 The Griffin iMic is a unique adapter that will allow a connection to either a personal computer (Mac or PC) or your iPad. Notable about this particular device is the ability to accept either "mic-in" or "line-in" input signals.

 Headset Microphone Adapter
This unique and very hard to find adapter adapter will allow you to use a traditional headset microphone with you iPad. It has a 4 conductor male plug on one end, and twin 3.5 mm stereo female connectors on the other end into which you can plug the speaker and microphone plug of your pc headset microphone. It provides a mono input on the microphone and stereo output for the sound out.

Two important notes:
- This is not a simple audio splitter. This is not the device to purchase if you are simply wanting to split the audio signal from your iPad or iPhone for simultaneous listening by two persons (see this item below if this is what you want). This is strictly for splitting the sound-in and sound-out function of the iPad or iPhone audio jack for use with a pc headset microphone.
- This adapter will not fit into the recessed jack on early generation iPhones, but is otherwise compatible with both the iPhone and iPad
Comments: If you prefer or have the technical need to use a standard headset microphone (not simply "earbuds" with a small attached microphone), this is the ideal adapter to allow you to do so. We apologize for the high price of this item. Honestly, they are extremely hard to find and we pay big bucks for them!  Audio Y-Adapter
This is a simple adapter to allow you to split the audio signal from your newer generation iPhone or iPad for use by two listeners. The signal coming from each line is identical.
Comments: There's not much to say about these adapters. They work. They don't have the narrow molded base, so they won't be compatible with the early generation iPhone or iPad with a recessed jack, but are compatible with recent models and fully compatible with the iPad

These are made by a company that specializes in high quality noise-canceling headsets for industrial and business use, and they put the best of their engineering into this product. These have been our personal favorite for several years!
